Freelance Corner launches new support packages to solve some of freelancers’ biggest worries
Freelance Corner, the online platform for the UK’s freelancers, launched today, Monday 11th May!
The platform, powered by non-profit organisation IPSE (the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed), has created adventure packs specifically for freelancers, which are split into three levels: Essentials, Protection, and Ultimate. Each level provides risk-reducers and support for both you and your business, looking to reduce the worries and problems freelancers face.
For example, Freelance Corner’s new Ultimate pack offers you up to £10,000 cover if a client goes bust*, and you can even claim up to £2,000 if you are ill for three or more weeks*. These packages offer you the perfect balance between the support and safety of employment, with the flexibility and adventure of freelancing.
Derek Cribb, Interim CEO of IPSE and Freelance Corner says: “The road ahead for freelancers is the most uncertain IPSE has seen in our 20-year history, despite our success negotiating the recent government package for the self-employed.
“We have a rich history of supporting the self-employed find success, and Freelance Corner is an exciting development of that. Years of research tells us that freelancers have unique worries and needs, and we now have a service specifically for them.”
